Hard to imagine he won’t get an at-large bid


We can probably look at the other championship results and figure it out after today. Of course there’s a chance he won’t be cleared and will have to drop out but they have alternates ranked and ready for that situation.

I’m not sure about the seed. Maybe he could have broken into the top 10 with a championship run but it wasn’t guaranteed that he’d beat Sherman. Hard to imagine a loss to Sherman and match against Matthews would do much for him anyway.
